My story starts out as a sibling to someone with a bleeding disorder. My brother was diagnosed with Hemophilia A severe when we was born. At that time my mom had no known family history of this disorder and once he was diagnosed, she as well was considered to have a mild form as well. My factor levels were check many times and were within normal ranges and had no other signs that I too would be a carrier.

Once Graham was born they did his heel pricks, those pricks wouldn’t clot and we tested him at the hospital for potentially having Hemophilia A as well. He then was confirmed to have Hemophilia A severe a few days later.

Now he is a WILD 2 year old and if you were in a room with him for a few minutes you would know this disorder doesn’t hold him back. He runs, jumps, falls, wrestles - nothing stops him and he is a man on a mission lol!  Now my heart may skip a beat here and there, but he doesn’t let this diagnosis define him.

We couldn’t make these strides in treatment without the support from others!  My personal goal is to raise as much as possible for this worthy cause. Every dollar stays within our community and supports critical initiatives such as funding research to find better treatments, educating medical providers on the latest innovations and care, ensuring families have access to quality healthcare and providing access to the best educational resources available. Every dollar raised goes back to this community living with this disorder.

I hope that you’ll join us for the walk here in a few months!

Thank you in advance for your support, from donations, attending the walk, so just being in our corner! Graham is so loved by everyone and we appreciate you being by his side!

Sincerely,

Amber, Brandon, and Graham ❤️
